My Brushes with Fame

• The actress Holly Floria and I were in the same (small) high school class.
• I campaigned for the late US Congressman Paul Henry, when he died his seat was filled by Calvin alum Vernon Ehlers who's daughter and I attended Calvin together.
• An email message from Donald E. Knuth. I'm also cited on pp. 414 of his book Digital Typography.
• Sat at a table next to the Dutch Olympic legend Fanny Blankers-Koen at a restaurant in Amersfoort.
• I had a joke published in rec.humor.funny.
• I've been published in CUJ; this is the official link, here is a local copy. 
• I was briefly quoted in an Ann Arbor News article.
